This site catalogs some of my various trips in the mountains of Colorado and Utah over the past seven years. Not all trips are documented here, since I've done so many I can't even remember them all now, and on a lot of them I didn't take any pictures or write a trip report. A total vanity site, I admit! Comments are appreciated..

Jim Lehmer - Me! I started hiking
and backpacking in Boy Scouts in the 1970s (Troop 171 in Boulder,
Colorado). Dropped it when I moved away from Colorado
between 1978 and 1991. Then started back up again,
and haven't stopped since.

Mike Slinkard - Mike has been my
friend since we were both eight years old at Whittier
Elementary School. Hence we can hang out on trips and
not have to talk much, as shown here! We have a knack
for getting ourselves into "interesting"
situations, usually brought about by our disdain for
following trails - trails are where the people are,
and we go to the mountains to get away from them. So
far, we've been able to get ourselves out of all
of those spots!

John Stoddard - John and I have
worked together three times since 1992, including
now, where we are both software architects at Clear
Technology. John is an experienced rock and
alpine climber with scores of climbs in Yosemite, the
Cascades, Southern and Canadian Rockies and Alaska.
He has been a very patient teacher
of various mountaineering techniques.

Sally Stoddard - "Sal-Ra"
is John's wife and climbing partner, and a good
friend.

Leslie Lehmer - Last but not least
is Les, my "better half". She has done some
snow shoeing with me in 2001-2002 near Ouray and then
in Cataract
Gulch near Lake City. Les is shown here near Lake
City at the Alferd
Packer memorial site (probably responding to some
dumb joke from me themed around "Eat me"
:-).
